It was a great way to see and learn about attractions in San Diego. My family that was visiting enjoyed it too. Would definitely recommend it.
Tip: Check for any activities going on downtown that may interfere with tour. Comicon prevented us from seeing Gaslamp District...

We visited San Diego for the first time in May 2017. The hotel recommended Old Town Trolley Tours as the best way to see the city. They were right! We saw the best San Diego has to offer narrated by really great guides. We could get off at any stop and spend some time there; then get back on when we were ready. Trolleys come by every half hour. The guides have a set "spiel" they deliver while driving the trolley. It is funny and informative; they are friendly and very nice. We learned a lot about the city and learned a lot at the same time. Kids would love this too. We can join other TripAdvisor patrons and highly recommend this tour.

I bought a ticket online, and spent a happy half day being taken around San Diego. The circuit takes you to a good range of different stops and experiences. My favourite was Old Town, where I followed the advice of our driver - James - and had a marvellous margarita at Casa Miguel. Good value for money.

"The best way to find your bearings in san Diego"

A great way to see the sights around town. there are nine stops where you can hop off the trolley, trolleys arrive every 30 minutes and a timetable is provide for you. If it's a busy time the driver will call up another trolley so your wait wont be much longer than 5 minutes. The driver's that we had provided a commentary that was informative and humourous. There was good repartee with the passengers and appropriate music was played at different places around town. The stops are in all major areas of San Diego, notably Old Town, Coronado and balboa Park. Grab a brochure and plan your day ahead of time and it'll make your trip even better value.

Loved the bus ride. The first driver was very well informed and spoke excellent English. Got off at second stop for, coffee then back on but the second driver was not so easy to understand but pleasant. After lunch took a third bus and thoroughly enjoyed this driver. Excellent value for money to see SanDiego. A must for any tourist.

We used the hotel shuttle pick up service which is provided at no cost. It was easy and much better than trying to get to Old Town on our own and trying to find parking. The shuttle picks up and drops off twice daily from Hotel Circle automatically. You just stand at the road in front of your motel. The drivers were all very friendly and informative, They give almost all the same information, but the delivery is tailored to their individual style. We did not get off at all the stops but the ones we chose we found interesting. Staying on the trolley is a great way to see the city and learn some interesting facts. Would had liked if it ran until a bit later in the day.
