"Great experience!"
July, 2016
The one hour guided tour of the South Bay was both educational and relaxing. The sights to see were well worth pictures and the crew was friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely sail again!
Tip: Do bring sunscreen and/or a hat if traveling in the summer months.

""A Widow experience""
July, 2015
I am a widow lost my husband of 34 years married. I said it's time to travel so I have one son in San Diego, I booked the most amazing cruise with FlagShip. My son and his wife and our grandchildren had an amazing time, learned about the sights and loved the view of that bridge going towards Coronado. My only regret is that the camera didn't work and our pictures prior to getting on the boat didn't develop. But I will be back, to retake the picture and have another beautiful time.
Tip: Well the only thing I can say is be ready to have a fabulous time, bring a sweater,

"A wonderful day on the bay"
January, 2015
This sail was on my 25th anniversary. The captain was very informative and great at his job. Only 4 others on the tour made it very special. There were all kinds of free drinks and snacks for us. They provided coats and blankets and everything you could need for a perfect day on the water.
Tip: Be ready for a fun sail in a beautiful place. Like I stated before, they provide everything you might need.

Our family enjoyed the boat tour. It was so exciting to see the gray whales even though they were impossible to catch on camera. We also saw sea lions, dolphins, sea gulls and another type of bird that swam in a flock. The volunteers from Birch Aquarium were excellent, and the entire crew was friendly.

On our last day in San Diego, we decided to go whale watching with Flagship Cruises. We saw a lot of sea lions, pods of dolphins, but unfortunately, no whales. They offer a whale guarantee, and we received a voucher for future use.

First I must say reservations are required. I called 4pm the day before and was able to go on the 9:30am whale watching tour. They board at 9:15am. I will say even if you don't get sea sick you might want to take medicine for motion sickness because the go out on the ocean. (The waves were small in bay but really big on ocean- I got sick and vomited 3x 😔 and family had nausea) The crew was extremely helpful. Before & After sickness went away had a great time. Learned alot about history of San Diego & Saw many whales. GORGEOUS VIEW OF CITY ON THIS TRIP!!! BRING A GOOD CAMERA. It is well worth it. I parked on pacific and got 12 hour parking for $16. Actually a short walk. Went to Jack in the box for lunch (4 blocks or so away) & then to the park & then to USS Midway. Great day trip. I had Go San Diego card and did this at no additional cost. If you have the card there are 3 attraction you can do for free in same area if you have the all inclusive pass. (I will get my money worth out of the card). This was on a Friday morning. Some of the other reviews said the could not get a seat but no problem on this 2 1/2 to 3 hour tour. I would love to take a harbor tour next time. Feel in love with the views.

"Great Whale Watching Tour"

We took the afternoon boat out to see whales, and it was a great trip. We saw several whales out of the water and one fluke. Even when you're not seeing whales, the water and sights are beautiful, and the guide is great with helpful, informational, and at times just fun information. Plus, you get to walk around the boat throughout the trip, so don't think that you're stuck with whatever seat you chose when you departed.
