"Great help from PBX Operator ANDREA JACKSON!"

Andrea Jackson helped me out of a jam. I left my passport and checkbook plus all my cash in the room safe, but did not realize it until about to board a flight home. I phoned the hotel and she arranged for Security to retrieve it and said they would mail it to me. I did have to follow up a week later with phone calls and emails, but that was not her fault-the one with custody of the items dropped the ball, according to the response from the hotel. Ms Jackson's prompt assistance was invaluable. The other positives: the beds, linens and pillows were VERY comfortable and clean; responsive AC/heating thermostat. Negative: no information in the room at all about how to connect to internet, find tv news, where to eat, etc. Also, one key did not work and the other as well as the replacement were difficult to use.

This was the second time we'd stayed in the Royal Tower in the past couple of months. Thanksgiving at the beach, with a lovely family friendly space for relaxation and rejuvenation at this busy time of year. The room was lovely with a wonderful view of the pool, with amenities to make our time there easy and comfy. The staff is excellent - everyone is warm and welcoming. We will be back.

We stayed there for 4 days for a Jazz Fest. Amazing how they had 6 different venues for bands to all be playing in at the same time in the same building. We were in the Regency Tower suites, but a bit disappointed that we didn't even have a small fridge. Also, things are getting old, and really do need some TLC. Because they are renovating, they only had 1 available place to eat, and it had a very limited menu. Aside from that, it was great. Staff are really good.

"Don't ever stay here"

I got myself booked into this hotel as part of a conference booking (American Society of Hematology). Room decor is old and worn out. Paint on toilet ceiling is falling out. There is mould on bathroom surfaces. Air conditioning does not work. There is no fridge, kettle or safe. The restaurants are expensive and offer boring meals. WiFi drops out intermittantly. 4G does not work. Nearby construction work is noisy. Yet they charge as much as Double Tree Hilton. Staff are not helpful and lie about delivering luggages to my room but keep it in their cupboard What a mega rip off!

"Tiny dark rooms, musty smell, dated fixtures"

Booked for a conference, big mistake. It’s a huge complex with confusing navigation signs. Arrived at 10:30 pm, spent 10 minutes wandering around just trying to find the reception desk and after checking in, another 10 minutes trying to find my room. All restaurants closed. Room itself was tiny and dark. Main room light was a chandelier hung above the tv which leaves you staring at bare bulbs if you turn it on or in the dark if you turn it off. Smelled musty. Bathroom was tiny and dated. Old style tub/shower. Old style below the window a/c. Quieter than most, but still much noisier than central air. No in room coffee maker.
