The hotel was beyond my expectations, it was perfect for all three of my kids they vary in ages from 17 to 4. We spent my 4 year olds birthday here and it was amazing, I’ve never seen him so happy.

"Great Hospitality!"
July, 2018
We got assigned to the Castle Hotel. It was great. Staff is very helpful and professional. After we told them we got 3 kids on the first day, they started putting 3 sets of goodies for the kids daily instead of 2.

The kids room is a bit small compared to the counterpart in the Legoland Hotel next door.

The only issue we have is that the bed is too soft for us. It would be great if they can put firmer mattress.

"An Overall Great Experience!"

My husband and I took our son to Legoland and The Legoland Hotel as his 5th birthday present. He had a blast! When we arrived, my son was greeted by Lego Santa just inside the doors, and while he was a bit shy, he was thrilled! The room was great- Ninjago themed, and my son was in heaven. He loved having his own bunk bed, and sleeping area, and that he could fall asleep and wake up surrounded by his lego heroes. He also enjoyed being able to play with the lego provided in the room. The daily treasure hunt with the little gift in the safe was lots of fun for him too. While the room was great, I did notice that some areas could use a bit of a more thorough cleaning- there was stuff splattered on the bathroom walls, that could have been easily wiped off, and base boards, corners etc could use a wipe. Also found a few hairs in tub and on toilet. We found some lego under the furniture as well. We loved the nightly entertainment- my son enjoyed the dance parties, the lego building contests, and the nightly shows. He liked that there were always kids around for him to play with, and really enjoyed the pirate ship area. The hotel location is so convenient, right next to the park entrance. And the early park access for hotel guests is nice too. The Bricks buffet is fabulous, a bit expensive, but with lots of choices to suit all tastes. It is a bit inconvenient having to enter the restaurant from outside in the morning though. We ate supper at the Skyline Cafe on our first night, and did not enjoy it at all, as it was expensive and the food was terrible. We left still hungry. The music and disco ball in the elevators is super cool. Our room was on the ground floor, but we still had to go for a few rides 😉 One thing I didn’t like, was that the carpet in the hallways was a bit musty smelling, and it was masked my a very strong, perfumy air freshener, which was kind of gross, gave me a headache, and seemed to linger on your clothing. Another thing I was a bit disappointed in was the birthday package. It was not worth the $100 USD we spent at all. The birthday gifts my son received were very disappointing ( a little sandwich container, a birthday cake topper, and a lanyard). The “Ninjago” cake was just a vanilla cake with a little edible paper picture of the Ninjago characters on top, and the package only included his dinner at the Brick’s buffet, not my husband and I’s, so we ended up having to pay extra for us to eat too. The Brick’s restaurant staff sang and brought the cake out to my son, which was nice though. Also, the $30 a night resort fee is kind of ridiculous too, since the hotel already costs a lot. Despite a couple little things, we had a wonderful stay, and hope to return in the future!

I want to start off by saying my family and I had such an amazing experience. The staff was great and very helpful. There is one staff member that really impressed us was Nina. I normally do not post reviews but I had to this time. We told her it was our first time ever to Legoland and she gave us really helpful advice. She is very knowledgeable and she knows fun facts about the hotel and my kids loved trying to find that chicken on the wall of mini figures. Since we are new to the park and hotel we kept going back to the desk and Nina was there to help us each time. I had asked Nina if she was a manager because I noticed her coworkers seek to her for help and without hesitation she was there guiding her coworkers and with a smile on her face. She was professional and made our first visit memorable. We will definitely be back.

"Overall fun hotel for kids, however lacks with accommodating allergies!"

We surprised our kiddos with a stay at this fun hotel! We were in an adventure themed room with Egyptian style decorations, which had a king bed and 2 bunk beds. The bunk beds were separated from the king bed and even had it's own TV. There were plenty of activities throughout the hotel to keep the kids entertained, even at the restaurants. One of my kids has quite a few food allergies, so its always a little nerve racking to eat out or try a new restaurant with the risk we could end up in the ER again. Before arriving, I reached out to the hotel to ask about accommodations for food allergies. I was put in contact with Sal Gagliano, the Head Hotel Chef. I received an email from him , which seemed to be a standard blast he sends in response to most allergy inquiries however, it sounded like he was well versed and understanding. Upon arrival and speaking with him in person at the buffet , I got the opposite vibe! He wasn't very friendly, or accommodating. He was even rude to a fellow co worker right in my presence. I discussed with him my child's allergies once again, and he told me instead of letting me know all of my options, to tell him what I would like to feed my child after walking the buffet line! I told him what I felt would be good, so he then went over which I could feed and which I couldn't, however some of the veggies I could feed my child were right NEXT to the veggies that were drenched in butter! He didn't seem to be concerned at all with cross contamination! I had to ask if he could prepare or get a new batch of food in the back, in which he did. He did not offer though! I've had much better service at other high end hotels, so maybe this is why I expect more??? The next morning, we had a lady chef (unfortunately didn't get her name) that was much more accommodating and helpful. Thank you!:) All in all, fun for the kids but not accommodating to people w/ allergies.

Arrived at Legoland earlier than check in. Room was already ready. Great pirate themed room. Went to the park. Came back for nightly entertainment which my daughter loved. Did her hotel scavenger hunt and after doing so found 2 of the same LEGO packs in our safe. Went down to the front desk and spoke with Mariah who was so helpful. She switches out the pack for a different one. Also asked her a few questions about the resort. Very kind and knowledgeable. Exactly who you would hope for from a front desk staff member. Woke up and had a wonderful breakfast at Bricks. Checked out, checked out the aquarium and went on our way. Great stay!!

We are from the area, and decided to take a litlle weekend off with the kids. We hadn’t been to legoland since I was a kid, and it has change so much! The park was fun, not crazy busy for a weekend, which we loved. We stayed at the hotel one night, Saturday morning we were at bricks buffet eating and one of my children got sick and vomited. He was crying and felt so embarrassed, but Elia came up to our table to help us clean up and she took great care of my son, she gave him some of her LEGO friends and made him feel like it was no big deal, he stopped crying! I was so greatfull for her! Most places make you feel so embarrassed as a parent when something like that happens, plus they give you ugly looks! But elia was great! She was sweet and genuinely concerned about my sons health. Thank you so much Elia! I wish there were more people like her every where we take the kids! We are definitely getting our year passes now to keep going back to legoland!
