"Nice People and Great Location near Gaslamp and Petco Park"

Stayed here for a couple days and the people were just so nice. From the bell captain to the people behind the desk to the waiters in the restaurant, they all went out of their way to say hi and were genuinely nice. The rooms are clean and average size. The bathroom had one sink but good vanity space and had a walk in shower. One of the beds (we had 2 double beds) had the leather wearing off the headboard. I didn't take a picture of that, but it wasn't so nice to look at. The bed was comfortable. We were on the 8th floor and had a city view. If you looked to the left, you could see part of Petco Park which was dark the evenings we were there. I would stay there again when in the area.

The hotel is in a good location near the convention center (walking distance less than a mile) and just down the street from the Padres stadium. No games while I stayed, but I could see the left field bleachers from my room. The staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was surprisingly big and had a safe.

"No problems, nice big rooms, good location"

Hotel is in a great location just two blocks from Petco Park. It's just on the edge of the gaslamp and it's easy to walk everywhere from it. There is seven eleven one block away and also a star bucks for quick items and some good restaurants near. If you like pizza, make sure you eat at Basic pizza near, you won't be disappointed. The rooms are big and have good views and they are clean and have good showers and comfortable beds. The area is just fine, its just far enough from east village to avoid a lot of the homeless who are now there, but it's downtown so you will see a lot. Overall a great stay and a good price.

The Hotel Indigo Gaslamp is awesome. It has everything: ideal location, spacious rooms, delicious dining options, rooms with great views of Petco Park, and a top notch staff all around to make things flow smoothly. From check in to check out, the staff was on point. I was recognized for my Spire Elite status at check in and was upgraded to room 814. It offered amazing views of the Gaslmap district and of Petco Park. The dining options were great and did not disappoint. The hotel is centrally located to many places within walking distance and is a quick Ride to the airport when you have to depart. I stay 75+ nights in IHG properties and this was my first time at an Indigo Property. I will definitely stay in more in the future. Check this place out!

"Weekend Stay / Petco Park"

Found Indigo while searching for a Hotel near Petco Park. Perfect Location to get the park, basically one block away. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. No need for Uber if your just going to hang in the "Gaslamp Quarter" Rooms are nice, Keurig machines, safe, comfortable beds, large bathroom, clean... We had a street view 7th floor very cool. Valet is expensive but they were very friendly and helpful. Front Desk was easy and courteous, we asked for suggestions for drinks and they provided us with good advice. In house they have a decent bar and restaurant (lobby level) 509 Bar & Kitchen, they make the best Spicy Bloody Mary's, we only ate there once - breakfast on our last day - decent price and excellent food, service from Sergio was 5 star and Natalie at the bar was awesome, as mentioned excellent cocktails. The bar on the roof in very cool, you can see the stadium but it can get crowed. They have a cool appetizer menu and specialty drinks, nice to hang before going out. All in all our stay was relaxing and enjoyable - we would definitely stay here again.. Just a note: we had only one issue and it happened when we were checking out, I needed the luggage cart and one of the employees behind the desk - who I hadn't seen all weekend -told me that I couldn't use it myself, that I had to have them bring it to me. When I had arrived they provided me the cart so that I could take my luggage to my room - He told me they had some kind of rule about guests couldn't use the cart, REALLY where were you when I arrived? I wouldn't have been so bad but he was condescending, a real jerk, very sarcastic as well as rude. Telling me to have a nice day while I was leaving the building with a smirk on his face. WOW We spend three nights in this hotel with excellent service and a staff that was friendly and helpful. But this left a bad vibe overall.
