"Nice place to stay!!!"

Cleans rooms, Nice view, Delicious buffet breakfast. The only thing, I did not like was the food in the restaurant at dinner. I don't recomend the food and service of the hotel restaurant.

"Low Value for the Price"

I had to attend a meeting this the Hilton Bayfront. Most Hilton properties are very different from this. First, the next door neighbor was the Dole container port for offloading their cargo containers. Not a great view for a 4 star facility. Second, the rooms weren't very well appointed. Think on the level of a Courtyard Marriott. Third, for the "group rate" of $275 in mid-March we should have had a rate around $200 per night. Fourth, the restaurants were not open very late. Our meetings adjourned at 7:00 PM and the restaurant closed at 8:30. We went to the Fox Sports Grill since it was open until 10. The staff was helpful and courteous. The facility was very clean, but not really a 4 star facility.

"Great Location but Room Disappointing"

The Hilton Bayfront Hotel in San Diego is superbly located: immediately next to the convention center; a lovely bayside promenade for walking, running, biking, skating; within a brief walk to the Gaslamp Quarter and Seaport Village, as well as reasonable proximity to the Naval Authority with the aircraft carrier Midway available for tours, and the Star of India ship under sail. Little Italy is not that far away and, with a car, one has easy access to I-5 and various other main arteries leading from downtown to Pacific Beach and La Jolla to the north, and Mission Valley and Fashion Valley Malls to the east. If you can get a room on the higher floors, the views are incredible - of the bay, the marina and the city and a brief glimpse of the Pacific. One pays for this location, though, and the room rate, even discounted for a meeting, is high. So, my expectation for the room was also high, but was disappointed in this respect. The room was clean and comfortable, but bare bones as hotel rooms go. The room included a mini desk, coffee service, and an adequate bathroom but no refrigerator and wall decorations (perhaps not that important) were barely existent. So, if one wants to pay the price for luxury but not get it but still get a great location, then the Hilton Bayfront is a good choice.

"Hilton Bay front Visit"

My room was very clean and had and excellent view of the convention center for the marathon that happened to be taking place on that Sunday. Also a very good spot to bring the whole family seeing that it is centrally located and within walking distance of anything that would be considered entertaining and attractive in a cool city.

"Very confusing Hotel, not value for money"

The hotel is in a great location a stone throw from everything you need. We're there for a conference. Huge place and quite hard to find the restaurants and bars. Service was not great for us. Two people in the room but only got supplies for one, kept having to phone to ask for more. Breakfast service was not clear what were getting, ushered into the restaurant we sat there for 30 minutes before realising that it was a buffet service as no one had explained the process and all the staff we called were too busy to come to our table. In the end we ran out with muffins and fruits as we're late but we hit with very expensive bill which was ridiculous. The room was basic though we were told that was the next level up with a sea/view which turned out to be a view of a deport with lots of trucks. The city view is better for this hotel in my opinion. I wouldn't go back if it was my choice.

"San Diego Bayfront Weekend"

Really enjoyed our weekend stay at the San Diego Bayfront Hilton. Service and Room was very good. Parking was kind of expensive, but I guess normal for downtown hotels. Didn't use the restaurants or wifi, so can't speak to that.
