Never a better treat than having a frozen Butterbeer in the Wizarding World. Go after 5pm for fewer crowds. We were able to enjoy our favorite attractions over and over again!

Its not as big as Universal Orlando but still a great place to visit when in LA. The Harry Potter area and Jurrasic park ride is worth the price of admission.

"The kids first visit"

This is the first time I have been in almost 30 years. We took our kids for their first visit. They had a lot of fun. The park is quite clean, restrooms are very clean. Husband and I enjoyed the studio tour more than the kids did. Most of the rides incorporate some sort of virtual reality which can be a bit overwhelming after about three or four rides. We really enjoyed Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I recommend trying the Butterbeer. All of the food we bought was very good. Hamburgers were cooked well without being dry or tasting old. Fries were fresh and hot with good seasoning. Be sure to get a donut at Lard Lad. $6 and it was large enough for my family of 4 to share. Parking is very expensive. $25 for general parking, $35 for preferred parking, and I heard valet is $40. There is a drop off zone for Uber and Lyft. We bought our season passes through Costco, so we will be back. But even with the Costco price, it was still a bit pricy for what the park has to offer. All of the staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. Everyone knew their business well. We'll be back. It was a good time, but it is on the pricy side.

UH has a great variety of rides, shows and attractions to keep your interest up all day. The back lot tour is also very interesting and informative. Well worth the time spent taking it. Just a fun place to spend a day if you like theme parks. Easily rivals Disney for quality and experience.

Universal Studios is pretty cool place. It's not too big, you can hit most of the rides in one day. Currently the longest lines are usually the ones' in Hogsmeade and the Studios Tour. If you can knock those out early you can pretty much see the rest in one day and not feel the need to return. It's also nice that you can exit and there are a ton of other restaurant choices to meet most cravings. On the other hand, if you are a local, it can be worth splurging the extra $9 for the annual pass. You end up on their email and they send you some offers. I have a free movie access for a friend and I to use before the end of October. It's cheaper than a Disney annual pass for sure!!!! All of that said, my favorite park areas are Hogsmeade and Springfield. Bothe areas are more immersive. I enjoyed going to Moe's Bar to have a beer and answering the phone at the end of the bar. Various simpson's characters talk to you! Hogsmeade is full of interactive magic areas where you can make things happen by the switch of your wrist if you have the right wand! There are wizarding characters around and you should definitely get beer at Hogsheads Tavern. The Butter Beer is with trying once. It's pretty sweet so be ready to follow with some water. But it is yummy, a cross between cream soda and root beer with a nice creamy foam on top.
