A great summer trip for a family! Offers things to do for all age ranges. Food was great. Overall less expensive than other theme parks. Beautiful area with lots of other fun stuff to see and do as well.
Tip: The pet show was a lot of fun and the Arctic encounter was the kids favorite

I bought my ticket through Reserve San Diego. It was easy to book, and made my trip even fun since I got a great deal. I high recommend this website for anyone who wants to plan a trip with easy convenient of not waiting in line in person. My trip to Sea world was amazing. Anytime I can take my kids where it is fun family entertainment is a plus for me. Can wait to go back to Sea World.
Tip: It get a bit cold at night so take a light jacket and great location to find a hotel to stay.

What a great day! We were at several theme parks in So Cal(including Disney)and this was probably the best. We paid the parking had a long walk up to the door and had to wait about 25 min in line for tickets. They did have some ticket kiosks but they wouldn't do the free kids ticket promotion that was on at the time. We had a great time seeing all of the animals and a few shows. It is too bad that they are ending the Shamu show next year. My boy had a lot of fun seeing, interacting and even throwing fish to some of the animals. There were only about 7 rids total, and as it was a weekend day, the lines were fairly long. Even with the longer lines, we were able to get on all of the rides and had a blast. Worth the price of admission, especially with the special deal they had

5 stars means that we had a wonderful experience; we had such a nice time that I think everyone should make a point of stopping here. We purchased the Go San Diego Carrd (from smartdestinations.com) which provided free admission here. We enjoyed our visit here more than the previous days spent at the San Diego Zoo and LEGOLAND. The live animal shows (we saw the dolphin/pilot whale and the killer whale shows) are inspiring. While I've seen these animals on TV so many times to see the live interaction is something I won't forget. The Manta roller coaster is awesome. Rather than taking you up a hill and then a big drop it launches you like a pinball in a pinball machine. Very, very fun! Going in December is a smart time because the lines were super short.

We loved all of the shows. The rides were good too. The best part is the animals! It is just amazing seeing the human and animal interaction. No animatronics here.

"Not a lot of fun for older kids"

When one thinks "Sea World" you think Whale and Dolphin shows. I remember riding large sea turtles 45 years ago when I visited as a child. I have fond memories of it. However, when we visited this year with our teen-aged sons, they were bored. There are not enough entertaining, high-octane rides for teens to remain entertained for the price of the park fee. Quite sad. I would suggest, if you are only taking littles, go. If not, pass.
