"Had an amazing day"

Full disclosure, we had a San Diego Go card purchased for other attractions and came her for half a day so it felt like it was 'free'. The Go card gave us the unlimited pass (the most expensive pass). We went an 8 year old and a 6 year old. Parking was free and it was next to the beach. We got there before it opened and the kids played on the beach. We wandered over once we had paid to a huge line to buy our tickets, it didn't look that busy so I wasn't expecting that but we did go during spring break. We went on all the kids rides, mini golf, laser tag 3 times, zip line two turns and they even had a dole whip van there, YUM! It kept us busy for a large park of the day and there were barely any lines (except the zip line) and were able to go on the rides the kids enjoyed more than once. This was an unexpectedly fun day and if we weren't so tired could have stayed a few more hours.

We went here over Spring Break, when the weather was too cold for the beach. The kids loved the roller coaster and zipline. I loved the Xanadu 3d ride. We purchased day passes from Costco.com ($27 for adults), which gave us access to almost everything for the day (zipline limited to two flights) and saved us a ton of money. I probably would not have enjoyed it as much if we had paid full price ($54) for two hours. The park is small, so spending two hours was plenty. We did everything we wanted to do, didn't have to wait long for rides and went home with happy kids.

"OK if in area - don’t go out of your way"

We walked here from our hotel - glad we didn’t plan a day around the park. We all rode roller coaster - which for family of five set us back $30 - but was worth it for sake of saying we did it. No other rides really worth it - it is not an all day park. We were less than an hour in the park area. The green grass park next door was crowded with homeless people - and while none approached us, I wouldn’t want to hang out near there. Not a great vibe.

"Nice park, not that many rides."

The roller coaster is CRAZY!!!!!!!! Not for the faint of heart. But it was so much fun, there are not that many rides here, but it worth getting the unlimited tickets option. We came here on weekday night, was not packed at all, no wait times.

We were within walking distance of Belmont Park from our resort so we walked through it several times and our daughters rode the roller coaster. It is a lot like a county or state fair with a midway, lots of food, games, rides, an arcade and an escape room. It was clean and well staffed. It seems like kids 12 and under would get the most out of it but there were a lot of teenagers riding the roller coaster. It doesn’t cost anything to walk through it, you buy tickets for the rides and games. It’s right on Mission Beach so if you combine it with the beach you have a nice day.
