This area not only has carnival rides and games but they've installed a rock climbing wall, a small zipline and an adventure ropes course adequate for young ones.

"Fun for the kids"

We took our grandkids here. We bought the ride bracelets for everyone. Most of the rides are sized for children. The main ride, the roller-coaster, is very old. I rode on this as a child myself 50 years ago. The ride is extremely rough and unpleasant. There were kids cutting in the lines all day long. Sometimes rides that should have had a wait time of 20 minutes were over an hour. I wouldn't do this again.

Belmont Park has a historical wooden roller coaster that has remained since the park was renovated from its previous glory days. There is a little variety of rides for kids, teens & adults. Several shops & places to eat. Plus is located right next to the famous Mission Beach Boardwalk, several parks, Sea World, San Diego and Mission Bay. Definetly something for everyone.

Another random trip :) I recommend buying the all day pass for the rides if you have kids that loves to go on the roller coaster. It's a nice park with arcades and food as well. Take a quick walk around the corner and the beach is right there. They also have bikes, skates, scooters for rent. We rented the tandem bike for 2 hours for $20. and ride it around the beach :) A family friendly place to spend a couple of hours :)

There are several rides and carnival games here. This is a good place for families with kids. Teenagers and adults should ride the Great Dipper roller coaster. It is definitely a good ride.
