Fun little spot along the beach and boardwalk. Not a whole lot to do but has the roller coaster and some little rides. Arcade games and food. Prices are okay. Not recommended for a full day but good for a short visit or evening fun!

"Historic 91+ Year Old Belmont Park"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5

Belmont Park is a historic amusement park located right on the Mission Beach Boardwalk and the Pacific Ocean. In addition to building the historic Hotel Del Coronado, Belmont Park was developed by John D. Spreckels, a sugar tycoon, as a way to promote his land development project in the struggling economy of San Diego. The park opened on July 4, 1925, and the most iconic attraction from this era, and still standing, is the giant wooden dipper roller coaster. The park is still operating today as an amusement center, to include the still functioning, 91+ year old roller coaster. The park has a carnival/county fair style atmosphere with amusement rides, games and food outlets and there is no general admission fee if you just want to walk through the area.

"Great value!!"

Similar to Santa Monica Beach pier as it has carnival rides, an arcade and roller coasters! The price was very good only $30 for unlimited rides and they had really good rides.... better than SM pier. The lines were super short... and the kids really got our money's worth. The shops weren't too over priced... pretty dresses for under $20. We go here anytime we are in San Diego... They constantly improve and add rides or entertainment. Zip line rock climb bumper cars and crazy cars.... etc!

we had fun, don't get me wrong.. but things are expensive and it seemed a little tourist trappy.. my 4 year old had a blast on the rides, we had a great time in general, was just kind of a money suck.
